I finally watched the film tonight, you all were right, so many plot holes, its hard to know where to begin. It was so predicable, rehash from the previous films and BSG. I thought the fighter chick was there for eye candy, nothing else. How can Conner be nearly ten years older than Reese in 2018? If he was sent back to protect Sarah and conceive John? I also did not like the fact that John Conner was not leader of the resistance. Is that not what the plot had been building up all along? He seemed more like Baltar on BSG, some wacked out cult leader. It seemed like the main character was Marcus, we really do not seem much of Conner until the climax. I found the creation of Marcus interesting, but having a human heart was lame, just an attempt at outdoing the CGI on the last film, as was the Arnold cameo. On that note, the CGI and action scenes were frakking awesome, but that seems to be all the film was. Another example of good CGI, with a weak plot. It could have been MUCH better. I really hope this is the last nail in the coffin.

Not bad, i recently watched every star trek tos and-original movies in order and was actually let down with the motion picture ending. I thought it was corny and had expected more. cool idea i thought delievery was weak. anyway i later heard that the motion picture was a spin off "The changeling" episode of the TOS where the drone thought kirk was its creator and yada yada yada....
